LONE STAR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
NOMINATION FORM

Education in Action's experiential learning programs empower young Texans to be informed and active leaders in their communities. Nominated students have the opportunity to join a delegation of distinguished students representing Texas schools and travel to the Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin or Houston/Galveston area, where they will learn about the great state of Texas and its leaders. Your nomination indicates this student demonstrates scholastic merit and leadership abilities.
To participate, students must:

  • Be in the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade
  • Have a B (85% or 3.5) grade point average or higher
  • Show commitment to community or school involvement
  • Demonstrate leadership ability
